Velu Murugan K

You can find me, Velu Murugan K, over at number 19 in the Mathikere Kapasia Bazar. It’s right near the Mathikere Extension. If you know the bazar, you know it is a place full of life and a lot of different smells and sounds. Not the kind of place where you’d expect a quiet, sterile office, and mine certainly isn't that. It’s a working space. There is always someone shouting something outside or a cart going past, but that is part of the charm of being in the bazar. I’ve been here for a good amount of time now. The office is where I handle all the daily business. It’s a bit cramped because I have a lot of folders and ledgers piled up, but I know where every single paper is. People drop in while they are doing their shopping in the market. It’s a very local way of doing things. I don’t use a lot of fancy technology if I can help it. A good pen and a clear head usually do the trick for me. Being close to the extension means I get a mix of the old market crowd and some newer faces too. It’s a busy life, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The energy of Mathikere keeps me going even on the long days when the sun is particularly hot. It’s a real place for real work.
