Veena Fancy Stores

Veena Fancy Stores is located at 636 Undri Road in the Hadapsar area, near Rajajinagar. It is a busy spot on the road with lots of people passing by. We sell all kinds of small things that people need for their daily lives. We have things like ribbons, buttons, lace, and some imitation jewelry. There are also some school items for the kids when they need them. The shop is quite narrow so we had to build wooden shelves all the way to the top. I usually keep a small stool handy to reach the items on the upper rows. It’s just me and my sister running the place most days. We’ve been at this location for a few years now. The traffic outside on Undri Road can be a bit much, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home. We get a lot of women coming in to match thread colors for their sewing projects. We have a huge box of different colored spools that we spend a lot of time organizing. The floor is just plain cement and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon, but it works for what we need. We don't do any big promotions or advertising. Word of mouth from the people living around here is how most folks find us. We keep the doors open from ten in the morning until about eight at night. It’s a steady life and we like chatting with the neighbors.
