Vasudevan D

My name is Vasudevan D and I have my small business in Chamrajpet. My place is located directly opposite the Kannada Saahitya Bhavan, which is a very well-known spot in this neighborhood. I have been in this same building for many years and I have seen the streets outside change from quiet lanes to busy roads. My shop is quite humble. I have an old wooden counter and some shelves that have been there since I opened. I do all the work myself because I like to know exactly what is happening. Chamrajpet is an old part of the city and it has a very specific feel to it. People are generally friendly and they stop to say hello when they walk past. I have a small stool where I sit and watch the world go by when there are no customers. I don't have any big advertisements or a website. Most of my business comes from people who have known me for a long time. The building is old and sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains heavily, but it is my home away from home. I keep my own hours and don't feel the need to rush through life. Sometimes the events at the Saahitya Bhavan bring in a lot of people, and the street gets very lively. I enjoy those days. It is a simple life and I am satisfied with my shop.
