Our office is up on the fourth floor of Brigade Towers, right there on Brigade Road near Shoolay Circle. It’s a busy building in a very busy part of town. Pentagon Communications Pvt Ltd isn't some glass-walled giant; it’s just a practical workspace where we get our stuff done. You have to deal with the lift which is sometimes slow, but once you get up to room 403, it’s a bit quieter. We have desks piled with papers and a few computers that have seen better days. The view out the window is mostly just more buildings and the tops of cars stuck in traffic down below. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or typing away at emails. It’s the kind of place where someone is always making a fresh pot of coffee in the corner. We don’t go for anything fancy. The chairs are comfortable enough for a long day of work, and that’s what matters. Being so close to Shoolay Circle means there is always somewhere to grab a quick bite for lunch, which is a plus. Sometimes we stay late when a project needs finishing, and the building gets real quiet then. It’s just us and the humming of the air conditioner. We’ve been here for a while and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes. It feels like home after all these years, despite the noise of the city right outside our windows.
