We are out here in Electronic City Phase-1, right near the Patalamba Temple. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with the Godrej project going on. We spend most of our time at the site office at Village Dodatugoor. It’s a lot of dust and noise every day, but that is just how engineering work is. We’ve got a small crew that handles the daily stuff, keeping track of materials and making sure the machines are running okay. Sometimes the weather makes things tough, especially when it rains heavy and the roads get muddy. We’ve been here for a while now, seeing the buildings go up piece by piece. It is not always pretty or fast, but we get the work done eventually. Most of us eat our lunch near the temple or just bring something from home because it's easier than trying to find a spot in the city traffic. We don't really have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It's just desks, a few old chairs, and piles of blueprints. We have a small kettle for making tea in the afternoons, which is usually the highlight of the day when we take a ten-minute break. The temple is right there, so we hear the bells and prayers sometimes, which is a nice break from the sound of the cement mixers and the trucks. It’s honest work, even if it feels a bit slow some days. We just try to keep things moving and hope the equipment doesn't break down before the weekend.
