My name is Vanitha and I have been working out of this space at 19 Palace Guttahalli Road for several years. It is situated on the 2nd Main Road, right near the Vinayaka Circle, which makes it a very busy area. There is always a lot of traffic and people moving about outside, but inside my office, it stays relatively quiet. I handle various administrative tasks and small-scale projects for people in the neighborhood. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character, with high ceilings and heavy wooden doors. I don't have a big team or a lot of high-tech equipment. It is mostly just me at my desk with my ledgers and a telephone. Many of the people who come to see me have been doing so for a decade or more. We usually end up talking about our families before we even get to the business side of things. I like being part of the community here in Guttahalli. It feels like everyone knows everyone else’s business, but in a friendly way. I usually open up around ten in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. The street food around Vinayaka Circle is excellent, so I often grab a snack there in the evening. It is a humble setup, but it provides everything I need to stay busy and helpful to the local folks who rely on me for their daily paperwork needs.
