You can find us at 57/6 Viswaneedam on B T Kawade Road. We’ve been running this travel thing for a while now. It’s mostly about coordinating cars and buses for people who want to go somewhere. The phone rings a lot, usually people asking about prices or if we have a vehicle available for the weekend. We have a small office where we keep the logs and keys. It's not very big, and there’s always a map on the wall that's a bit outdated. Managing drivers is the main part of the job. Some days everything goes smooth, and other days a bus breaks down in the middle of nowhere and we’re scrambling to find a replacement. It's a lot of stress but we’re used to it. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Word of mouth is how most people find us. We know the roads around here quite well. B T Kawade Road gets quite busy, so we’re always watching the clock. Sometimes we take a trip ourselves just to check the routes and see how the drivers are doing. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so everyone chips in when it gets hectic. We just try to make sure people get where they're going without too much fuss. It’s a simple business, really. We’ve seen the road change a lot over the years but we are still here and doing the same daily work.
