Vagata Associates

Vagata Associates is based at 336 Ulsoor on CG Road. It is a fairly old building and the lift is a bit temperamental so most of us just take the stairs anyway. Our office is basically one big room with some partitions that don't really block out the sound of people talking. We have a lot of files. They are in cabinets, on top of cabinets, and sometimes in stacks on the floor when we run out of space. It’s just the way things go when you have been in business for a while. The view from the window is mostly just the tops of other buildings and the busy traffic on CG Road below. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out some of the honking. It isn't a place for fancy meetings or showing off. We just have our desks and our computers and a small kettle in the corner for making coffee. Sometimes the milk delivery is late and we all get a bit grumpy until the first cup is made. We deal with a lot of local people and folks who have been coming to this area for years. It’s a steady kind of life. We try to keep the paperwork moving so it doesn't get too overwhelming by the end of the month. It’s just us doing our thing every day and trying to stay ahead of the schedule.
