V K Engineers

V K Engineers is at number 4 near Jalahalli Cross, right on the 100 Feet Road in Kamakshi Palya. It’s a busy spot with cars and bikes whizzing past all day long. Our workshop is right on the street level, so it can get pretty dusty inside, especially when the wind picks up. We have a lot of metal scraps and tools scattered around the floor because we’re always in the middle of a project. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear nice clothes. We usually have grease on our hands and shirts by noon. There’s a big overhead fan that helps a bit with the heat, but it doesn't do much on the really hot days. We’ve been at this location for quite a while, and the neighbors know the sound of our machines. It’s a small team, and we’ve all been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to know what needs to be done. We take our work seriously, but the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We listen to the radio and crack jokes to pass the time while we weld or cut. Sometimes we have to work on Sundays if a job is urgent, but mostly we stick to the regular hours. It’s a tough job but it’s what we know how to do. We don’t bother with fancy slogans or big promises, we just get the engineering work finished and move on.
