V A Venkatram & Co

You can find us over at Mittal Towers on M G Road, which is one of the more crowded parts of Bangalore. We are up on the fifth floor in the A Wing, specifically in room 503. Being on the fifth floor means we get a bit of a view, but mostly we’re just looking at the tops of other buildings nearby. The office stays pretty busy with clients coming in and out to discuss their matters with the team. V A Venkatram & Co is a place where we deal with a lot of paperwork and legal-sounding documents every single day. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, so we often find ourselves waiting in the lobby for a few minutes. Inside the office, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and the occasional phone ringing. We have large cupboards full of binders that have been here for years and are starting to show their age. The carpet is a dark color to hide the dust from the city. M G Road is always humming with activity, and you can hear the faint sound of traffic even from up here. We usually eat our lunch at our desks or head down to one of the small eateries nearby if we have the time. It’s a professional enough environment but we don’t stand on ceremony or anything like that. We just get through the pile of work on our desks and try to stay on top of things as best we can.
