Usas Inc.

We’ve got a small office at 15, Gyanddep Society on Saibaba Road, which is right in the heart of Santacruz West. Being in a residential society like this means we have to keep things relatively quiet, but inside Usas Inc., it’s always a bit of a scramble. We don’t have a big glass building or a sign you can see from a mile away. Most people just walk past the gate without knowing we’re even here. The office is basically just two rooms filled with computers, some filing cabinets, and way too many power cables running along the floor. We do a lot of our work over the phone and through the internet, but we still like having a physical spot where we can all sit together. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, especially during the monsoon when we’re all trying to dry our umbrellas by the door. We aren’t the type to use big words or pretend we’re a multinational corporation. We’re just a small group trying to handle our accounts and keep our clients from getting stressed out. Sometimes we go out for Vada Pav when the afternoon slump hits, and that’s usually the highlight of the day. It’s a straightforward setup. No missions, no fancy goals, just getting the daily tasks done so we can head home to our families in the evening. It’s a decent way to earn a living in a city that’s always in a hurry, and we like the neighborhood.
