R B Glass & Plywood is situated in HRBR Layout, specifically on the 3rd Cross of Gokulam. We are right across the street from the Kalyan Nagar Post Office, which is a good landmark for people who haven't visited us before. The shop is filled with various types of glass sheets and different grades of plywood. It smells like sawdust most of the time because we are often cutting pieces to size for customers. We have a lot of regulars from the neighborhood who come in for small repairs or bigger home projects. It’s not a polished retail store; it’s more of a working warehouse where things are stacked high. My staff and I spend the day moving heavy sheets around and making sure we have enough stock. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the narrow road for a minute while we unload, but the neighbors are used to it. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just open up in the morning and wait for whoever needs glass or wood for their house. The post office across the way stays busy too, so there is always some movement on the street. It’s a simple setup where we try to keep track of all the different thicknesses and sizes people ask for. We usually have a bit of a backlog on the cutting, but we manage to get through it by the end of the day.
