Universal Lift Engineers

Our workshop is at Plot No. 62/3 in Singasandra Village, which is tucked away off Hosur Main Road. A good way to find us is to look for the Honda car showroom because we are right behind it in the Bommanahalli area. Being an engineering outfit focused on lifts, we have a lot of heavy parts and cables laying around the place. It’s a busy neighborhood and the traffic on Hosur Road can be a nightmare during the morning rush. We usually start early to avoid the worst of it. The shop floor is where most of our time goes, greasing rails and testing out motor parts. It isn't a clean, white-glove kind of office. There are oil stains on the floor and tools everywhere you look. We have been doing this for a long time, so we have a routine that works for us. People from the village and the nearby showrooms often see us hauling gear in and out. We don’t do any big promotions or anything like that. Most of our jobs come from people knowing we are just behind the Honda building. It is a bit dusty and the noise from the main road never really stops, but it is home for us. We just keep our heads down and make sure the elevators we work on are running right.
