Universal Enterprises

If you find yourself on the Main Road in BTM Layout 2nd Stage, you might pass our place at 6th Cross. Universal Enterprises is not hard to miss, though the sign is a little crooked these days. We have been set up here for a few years now, dealing with all kinds of local supply needs. The street is always packed with traffic, so there is a constant hum of engines outside our window. Inside, it is mostly just stacks of boxes and a couple of old desks where we do the paperwork. It is a small team here, just three of us really. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at the computer trying to track down items for customers. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we have all just gotten used to. We do not do much advertising; most people just hear about us from their neighbors or walk in because they saw the door open. We try to keep things simple and honest. There is no big corporate office telling us what to do, just us making decisions as they come up. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big shipment arrives, but we sort it out eventually. It is a decent way to make a living and we like being part of the BTM community.
