Our office is tucked away at 1337, Muninagappa Layout. It’s in Kavalbyra Sandra, which is part of the R.T. Nagar area in Bangalore. If you’ve ever tried to navigate these streets, you know it can be a bit of a maze sometimes. Unipar Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. has been here for years. We’re not in one of those huge glass buildings you see in the tech parks. Instead, we’re right in the middle of the neighborhood. We work on power systems and energy setups. It’s mostly technical stuff, sitting at desks and looking at diagrams or testing out components. The office feels a bit lived-in, with old files and spare parts taking up a lot of the shelf space. We have a small crew. Most of us walk or take a scooter to get in because parking around here is a nightmare. There’s a small shop around the corner where we all get our coffee in the afternoon. It gets pretty noisy outside with the traffic from the main road, but inside we just try to focus on the task at hand. We don't really do the whole corporate culture thing. It’s more about fixing problems and making sure the systems we build actually work when they’re installed. Some days are slow, while others are a complete scramble to meet a deadline. We just take it as it comes and try to do a good job for the people who rely on us.
