Uma Maheshwarao

I am Uma Maheshwarao. Right now, I am operating out of Mahesh C/O Naveen Kumar on Hosur Road in Bangalore. If you know anything about Hosur Road, you know the traffic is something else entirely. It can take forever just to go a few kilometers. But being here is convenient because everything is nearby. I am staying or working out of this spot with Naveen Kumar, which makes things a bit easier to manage. Bangalore is a fast city, but we try to keep our pace a bit more relaxed. The workspace is pretty basic. We have a couple of chairs, a table, and whatever we need for our daily work. It is not a formal office with a big sign outside. It's more of a personal setup. I spend a lot of time on the phone or just organizing things that come in. Being on Hosur Road means there is always noise from the trucks and cars, but you stop noticing it after a while. We don't really have any big plans for expansion or anything like that. We just focus on what is right in front of us. It is a very direct way of working. Most of our neighbors are also busy with their own small trades. It feels like a community of people who are all just trying to make a living in the city. We share the same struggles with the dust and the noise. Most days end with a walk to clear the head before the sun goes down.
