Ujjwala Fancy & Gift Centre

You can find us at number 24, right near the Kempamma Temple in Hebbal. We are on the 5th Main in the III Stage area. Being near the temple means we see a lot of people coming and going, especially on Fridays and during festival times. The shop is filled with fancy goods—bangles, hair clips, small toys, and all kinds of gift items. We try to keep the front of the shop looking bright so people notice us when they walk by. Inside, it’s a bit of a jumble. We have ribbons and laces in one corner and birthday decorations in another. I usually spend my time helping ladies match bangles to their outfits or picking out a toy for a crying kid. It's a friendly place. We know most of the people who live on this street. Sometimes the neighbors just stop in to say hello and don't buy anything at all, which is fine. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes things fall off if you aren't careful. We use a lot of small plastic bins to keep the tiny things like earrings from getting lost. In the evenings, the street lights come on and the shop looks quite cozy. We stay open a bit later than some of the other places just in case someone needs a last-minute gift. It’s a busy life, but we like being part of the Hebbal community and helping out.
