Udaya Travels

Our business is located on Bannerghatta Road in Bangalore. We are inside the Nirmal Jyothi ITI building and the name we go by there is Yalija R. If you know Bannerghatta Road, you know it is almost always blocked with traffic and people. It is a very busy place to be, but it means there are always people around. Udaya Travels is just a small local agency. We don’t have a big fleet of luxury buses. We mostly help people figure out how to get from one place to another without too much trouble. Our office is very basic. We have some chairs for people to sit on while we talk about their travel plans. There are maps on the wall and a lot of notebooks where we keep track of things. We have been doing this for a long time, so we know most of the good drivers and the best routes to take to avoid the worst of the Bangalore jams. We aren't trying to be some big national company. We are just happy helping the folks in our neighborhood get to where they need to go. It is a lot of talking and a lot of patience, but we enjoy it. Most of our days are spent just chatting with customers and making phone calls. It is a simple life and we like it.
