Udaya Agro Services

Our shop is located in Chamrajpet on 3rd Main at number 14. This is one of the older parts of the city and it has a lot of big trees that give some shade during the hot afternoons. Udaya Agro Services is a small place where we handle things for farmers and people who like to grow their own food. The smell inside is a mix of dry earth and some of the fertilizers we keep in bags at the back. We have a few wooden benches where people can sit and talk while they wait. Most of the conversation is about the weather or how the crops are doing this season. If the rain is late everyone is a bit worried and if it is too heavy we talk about the mud. We do not have any big signs or bright lights to attract people. Most folks just know we are here because their fathers came here before them. Our desk is an old wooden thing that has seen better days and the ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it is on high speed. We keep things simple because that is what our customers like. We open at nine and stay until the sun starts to set. It is a steady way of life and we are happy to be part of this neighborhood. We just do our work and help out whoever walks through the door.
