Our place is at 803-Hoysala Apartments on Cunningham Road. Bangalore is always crowded, and this area is no different. It is actually an apartment, so it doesn't look like a big food factory from the outside. We handle a lot of the paperwork and coordination from here. There are files stacked on the desks and the phone rings pretty often with people asking about grain or different food supplies. We have a small kitchen area where we sometimes test things out or just make coffee. The view from the window shows the traffic on Cunningham Road moving slowly. It is a good spot because we are central, even if finding parking is a nightmare for anyone coming to visit. Most of the staff has been together for a few years. We know each other's habits well. We deal with farmers and suppliers all day long. It gets a bit hectic when the harvest seasons come around. The elevators in the building are sometimes slow, so we end up taking the stairs. It is just a normal office where we try to stay on top of the orders. We don't use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the food products get where they need to go without too much trouble. It is a lot of checking lists and talking to truck drivers. We are just regular people making a living in the food trade.
