Uday Shankar Associates

Our office is located at 8 Lalbagh Road, inside the Vinochem Industrial Estate. We are specifically in Fortune Chambers on the 1st Floor, which is part of Panchal Udyog Nagar on Goddev Road. It is a bit of a maze to get here with all the different industrial units around. We have been working from this office for quite some time. It is a simple space with some desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. We are not a big corporate firm with a glass building. We handle a lot of paperwork and meetings for people who have businesses in the estate. It can get quite busy during tax season or when there are new regulations to follow. My name is Uday and I run the place with a few assistants. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at documents. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the office. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. People just knock and come in. It is a practical environment where we focus on getting the files in order. Sometimes the street outside is blocked by trucks, so we have to walk a bit to get to the entrance. We just try to keep things organized for our clients who are mostly local business owners. It is not exciting work, but we find it steady and important.
