I’m based at 4 Vivekananda Nagar, which is part of the Dharnidhar Society. It’s a quiet residential area for the most part, which makes it a good place to work without too much noise from the main roads. My office is just a small room where I keep my files and my computer. It’s a very local way of doing things. People who live in Dharnidhar Society know me, and I’ve been around Vivekananda Nagar for quite some time now. My work involves a lot of direct interaction with people. It’s not about big marketing or anything like that. It’s just me providing services that people in the community need. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to say hello or to talk about something happening in the society. I keep my hours pretty flexible because that’s the benefit of working from a place like this. The room isn't very large, but it has everything I need to stay organized. I have a lot of books and folders piled up on the shelves. It might look a bit messy to someone else, but I know exactly where everything is. The door is usually open if I'm inside. There's a small garden area just outside the society gate where people sit in the evenings. It's nice to see familiar faces when I walk in. I don't really have a big sign outside, just a small one near the bell. Most people find me through word of mouth anyway. That’s how it works here.
