Turbo Parts is up on the second floor of J.K. Chambers in Vashi. Sector 17 is always crowded, so finding parking can be a real headache if you come after ten in the morning. We deal with all sorts of mechanical parts. Our office is number 202. It's packed with ledgers and sample boxes everywhere. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and checking if things are in stock. This isn't a showroom. It’s more of a place where we coordinate orders and make sure stuff gets shipped to the right workshops. Sometimes there’s a delay with the logistics, and we have to explain that to people, which isn't fun. My cousin and I run the day-to-day stuff here. We’ve been in this trade for quite some time now. We know the part numbers by heart mostly. The building is old but it works for us. We don’t do much advertising. People who need specific parts just know where to find us in Plot 76. It’s honest work. We don't try to sell people things they don't need. If a part is going to take a week to arrive from the warehouse, we tell them it'll take a week. We don't like making promises we can't keep because it ruins the reputation we've built up here in Sector 17. Most days we eat lunch at our desks while waiting for the next call. We keep a small radio in the corner that plays the news while we're working on the invoices. The floor tiles are a bit cracked near the door.
