Tunic International

Tunic International is based out of 15/1 in the Narasimaiah Block. Venkateshpuram is a busy little pocket of the city. We have a small setup here where we handle all our business. It is not a big factory, just a place where we get the tunics ready for people. There are sewing machines going in the back room and a few desks up in the front area. We started out small and we have stayed that way for the most part. The building is tucked away from the main road, so it is not like a regular shop. Most people who come here are looking for us specifically. We spend our time checking the seams and talking to the tailors about the designs. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we keep the windows open for the breeze. We do not have any big corporate structure or managers. It is just me and a couple of other people. We drink a lot of coffee from the small stall down the street. Managing the different patterns and the big fabric rolls takes up most of our day. Sometimes we get behind on the paperwork because we are so busy with the clothes themselves. It is an honest living for us. We have been at 15/1 for a good while now and all the neighbors know us by name. It is a decent place to be.
