Our setup is out in Concorde Napa Valley, which is quite a way down Kanakapura Road. We are in Villa Number 587 on Lane 74. It is a very peaceful area, almost feels like it is not in Bangalore at all because there are so many trees and it is so quiet. We are an OPC, which means it is a small operation. The office is basically just a part of the villa that we have dedicated to work. It is a nice change from the dusty industrial areas or the crowded city streets. The commute can be long if you are coming from the north, but once you are here, it is very calm. We do our global business work from this quiet corner. Sometimes we work from the garden area when the weather is nice. There isn't a lot of foot traffic out here, so we don't get many walk-in visitors. Usually, it’s just the sound of the birds or the occasional car passing by in the lane. We like the privacy it gives us. The villa is spacious enough that we don't feel cramped at all. It is not your typical office environment with cubicles and fluorescent lights. We use regular lamps and have comfortable chairs. It is just a practical way for us to get our work done without the stress of a big office park. Being in Bangalore South gives us a bit of breathing room.
