Our place is set up in Isro Layout which is down in the southern part of Bangalore. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the city center but the air is a little bit better out here because of all the trees in the residential pockets. We don't have a massive office complex or anything like that; it is just a practical space where we can focus on our tasks. Most of the people around here are families or retired folks who worked at the space agency so it is generally a peaceful neighborhood to be based in. Sometimes we walk out to get a coffee at the small shop on the corner and you see the same faces every day. The building is basic and we have just the essentials inside like some chairs and desks that have seen better days. It is not a place where you will see people in suits or fancy lobby decorations. We are just a team of people trying to keep things running smoothly. The internet works most of the time and we have enough light coming through the windows to keep us going. Being in Isro Layout means we are away from the worst of the city noise which helps us stay on track. It is a simple life here and we are quite content with the way things are going.
