Koramangala 5 is a pretty famous spot in Bangalore for tech companies, and Tricon Infotech is right there in the thick of it. It’s a very different vibe compared to other parts of the city because there are so many startups and cafes everywhere you look. Our office is a busy place where we spend most of the day coding or testing out different software ideas. It’s not always quiet; there’s usually some music playing in the background or people debating the best way to fix a bug. We’ve got a few rows of computers and some very used chairs that have seen a lot of hours. We don't go in for fancy corporate talk or big presentations. If someone has an idea, they just say it across the room. Lunch is usually a quick affair because there are so many good places to eat within a five-minute walk. Sometimes we go out as a group, sometimes we just eat at our desks while reading something online or catching up on news. The work can be tough and the deadlines are always lurking, but the team gets along well enough. We just try to keep things simple and focus on the technical side of things without getting distracted by all the noise outside. It’s a good place to be if you like technology and being around people who actually know how stuff works under the hood. It keeps us on our toes.
