Travel Guru(Aegis Bpo)

We have been here in Bangalore for a while, working on travel related tasks under the Aegis Bpo name. It is usually quite busy in the office most days of the week. People call us up when they have questions about their trips or if they ran into some trouble with their bookings. It’s not a fancy setup or anything, just a regular place where we get the daily work done. Some of us have been at these same desks for a few years now. We spend most of the day on the phone or answering emails. It gets pretty loud in here when everyone is talking to customers at the same time. We aren’t trying to look like a huge global corporation, even though the name might sound like that to some people. We just focus on the work that is right in front of us and try to keep up with the calls. Most of the people working here live in the neighborhood, so we are all pretty familiar with the city. Sometimes the systems go down or the internet is slow, which is a real pain, but we just deal with it. We do a lot of the behind-the-scenes work that people don’t really notice when they are booking a holiday. It is steady work and it keeps us busy. We try to keep things simple and we don’t really do many big meetings. If you walked in, you’d just see us in our chairs with headsets on. It is what it is.
