This office is on the second floor of a building in the Balaji 1st Main Layout over in Subannapalya. If you know Banaswadi in Bangalore, you know how busy the roads can get around here during the rush hour. We spend our days dealing with different types of currency and filling out a lot of forms that the government requires for forex work. The office has a few old desks and some filing cabinets that are stuffed with papers from the last few years. It is not the most modern place you will ever see but it serves its purpose for the people living nearby. We hear the traffic from the main road all day long and it becomes a sort of background noise that we don't even notice anymore. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in so we can finish a transaction on the computer. We have a small staff and we all know each other well since we have been working in this layout for a long time. The stairs leading up to the second floor are a bit steep so we tell people to watch their step. We keep a ledger for everything and there are always calculators sitting out on the tables. It is mostly just regular work and meeting the same people who come in whenever they are planning a trip abroad. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on a Monday morning.
