Travel Agent

I run my travel agent business from my home at No 50/53 in the LIC Colony. It’s located in the Nanjappa Reddy Grape Garden area of Mohan Kumar Nagar, which is in Mathikere, Bangalore. It’s a small, one-man operation. I don't have a big office with glass windows or anything like that. I just have a desk in my room with my computer and a printer. Most of my clients are people from the neighborhood who have known me for a long time. They usually call me first to see if I’m around before they drop by with their cash and ID papers. Bangalore traffic is so bad that I try to do as much as I can over the phone to save everyone a trip. I handle a lot of local trips, like families wanting to go to the temple or a weekend getaway. I don't have fancy brochures, just the latest prices I find online. It’s a quiet life in LIC Colony. I spend a lot of time checking schedules and making sure the tickets are confirmed.
