Travel Agency

We are located in Haliyal Taluk, which is a quiet area in the Uttara Kannada district near Karwar. Our office is a small spot where we handle all the travel agency work for the local folks. It is a very modest setup with just a couple of desks and some old maps on the wall. Our address record even has a note about height 165 written on it, which is just one of those odd things we have kept over the years. Most of our days are spent talking to people about bus timings or helping them figure out how to get to the city. It is a slow pace of life here compared to the big travel hubs. We have a big window that lets in a lot of dust from the road, so we are always wiping things down. The fan makes a clicking sound that we have just learned to ignore. We usually take a long break in the middle of the day when it gets too hot to do much. There are not many of us here, so we end up doing a bit of everything, from cleaning to answering the phone. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing where we are. It is a very local business and we like being part of the community in this part of Karwar.
