We operate out of a place in Katamnallur, which is part of the Bidrahalli area in Bangalore. You can find us at G74, care of Mallikarjuna. It is quite a bit away from the main city traffic, near Virgonagar. We like being out here because it is much quieter than the center of town. Our office is not a big corporate space. It is actually part of a regular building where we have set up our desks. Travcon Travels is a small team. We don't have hundreds of employees or a call center. When you call us, you usually talk to one of the three or four people who are actually in the room. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking schedules on our computers. Most of our clients are people from the local area or friends who have been coming to us for years. We don't do any flashy advertising. We think that if you do a decent job, people will eventually find you. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we see the same people walking their dogs or going to the shops every day. It feels more like being part of a village than being in a big city like Bangalore. We just keep things moving and make sure our paperwork is in order. It is a steady way to work.
