This is the transport section located on 2nd Main and 4th Cross here in Bangalore. It’s mostly about the vehicles and the schedules that keep everything moving. The office is right in the middle of a busy residential and commercial mix, so parking the bigger trucks or vans is always a bit of a headache. I spend my days tracking where the drivers are and making sure the logs are filled out properly. It’s a dusty job, honestly. There is always a lot of grease and the smell of diesel hanging around the yard. We don't have a lot of fancy office equipment. Just a few chairs, a table that wobbles, and a lot of keys hanging on the wall. I have to deal with broken-down engines or flat tires more often than I’d like. The paperwork is never-ending, with fuel receipts and maintenance charts piling up on my desk. 2nd Main is a tight street, so there’s always someone shouting for a vehicle to be moved. It’s a lot of practical, hands-on work. We don’t really do meetings; we just talk over the noise of the engines. If a driver doesn't show up, everything gets pushed back, and I have to figure out a new plan on the fly. It’s not a polished operation, but we get the stuff where it needs to go eventually.
