Our office is tucked away on the first floor right above Nayagara Printers in Chamrajpet. It’s on Chincholi Bundr Road, which stays pretty crowded most of the day. You can usually hear the sound of the printing presses from downstairs while we’re working. We aren't a big travel agency with fancy posters everywhere. It’s mostly just us at a few desks handling bookings for people who want to go somewhere for the weekend or visit family. We’ve got some old maps pinned up and a lot of notebooks filled with schedules. People come up the stairs looking for bus tickets or asking about train timings. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking if seats are available. It gets a bit stuffy in here during the afternoons, so we keep the windows open. The neighborhood is busy, so there’s always something happening outside. We don't do anything too complicated, just help people get from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to tell people to wait a bit. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. Most of our regulars live around Chamrajpet and just walk over when they’re planning a trip. It’s a simple operation, nothing more than that. We just keep track of the routes and make sure the paperwork is done so nobody gets stuck at a station somewhere far away. We like the work.
