Our office is situated at 581 on 16th Cross, right along the 35th Main in JP Nagar, Bangalore. It’s a typical software setup where most of the day is spent looking at monitors and typing away. We have our desks lined up in a fairly open room, and there’s usually a pot of tea or coffee going somewhere in the corner. Being in the 560078 zip code means we’re in a pretty established part of the city with plenty of places to grab a bite nearby during lunch. We don't do much besides the technical work, so the office is mostly quiet except for the sound of clicking keyboards and the occasional discussion about a bug or a piece of code. We’ve been in this building for some time and have gotten used to the routine of the 16th Cross. The traffic outside can be a bit much during peak hours, especially when everyone is trying to get home, but that’s just life in Bangalore. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights outside, just a door with our name on it. We focus on our tasks, try to meet our deadlines, and go home. It’s a small group of us here, and we just get along and do the work that needs to be finished. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where we just focus on the software. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, but we mostly try to keep a normal schedule.
