Our company, Tj Impex, is based over in Maruthi Sevanagar. We’re at 34/5 in the Banaswadi Extension area. We handle import and export stuff, which basically means a lot of tracking shipments and dealing with customs papers. It can be a bit of a headache when things get stuck at the port, but we’re used to it. The office is nothing special, just a place with computers and a lot of folders. We’ve been here for a good while now. Banaswadi is a decent place to work, though the traffic on the main road can be a bit much during the evenings. We’re a small crew, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. We aren’t trying to be the next big global conglomerate. We just want to get our goods from point A to point B without too much trouble. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all just sit around waiting for it to come back so we can send our emails. It’s a practical, everyday kind of business. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, one of us will just look up from our desk and say hello. We prefer it that way. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We like the local shops nearby for tea breaks. It’s just our little spot in Bangalore where we keep things moving for our customers.
