We are based out of S1D in the Klassic Comfort Apartments. It is right in Hsr Lay Out Sec 2, which is a busy part of Bangalore. Being in an apartment complex means our workspace feels a bit more like a home than a stiff office building. We have the usual stuff you would find—desks shoved into corners, plenty of charging cables running across the floor, and a kitchen area where the kettle is always on. Since we are in Karnataka, we get the typical weather, which can change from sunny to pouring rain in about ten minutes. Our windows look out over the other blocks of the complex. It is a bit crowded sometimes when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. Working from this spot means we are close to all the cafes and shops in HSR, which is handy when we need to grab lunch or some extra pens. The security guards at the gate know us well by now. We don't have any big corporate lobbies or shiny elevators. It is just a flat where we sit and do our work for the paper. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it is just someone with a package, but that is part of the charm of being in a residential area. We just keep our heads down and get the pages ready. It is a simple life here, focused on getting the news out without any unnecessary fuss or polished presentations.
