Our office is located at 148, Sarvabhuma Nagar, which is just off Bannerghatta Road, or BG Road as most people call it. Tideas Software Solutions India Privatelimited has a straightforward space here. It’s not a massive corporate office with a canteen and a gym. We just have our desks, some decent internet, and a place to park our scooters. The traffic on BG Road is pretty legendary, so we all have our shortcuts to get here without getting stuck for an hour. Inside, the walls are a bit plain, and we have some old calendars hanging up that haven't been changed in a while. We spend most of our time staring at screens, so we didn't see the point in fancy decorations. There’s a small shop around the corner where we get snacks and tea. The team is small, and we mostly just talk across the room instead of sending emails to each other when we’re sitting five feet apart. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do put in the hours when there’s a lot to do. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks at the delivery guys, which adds to the local feel of the place. It’s just a normal office in a normal neighborhood, and that’s how we like it. We focus on the work rather than the appearance of the place. It is a simple, functional environment where we can get through our daily lists without any drama.
