Being on the 2nd floor here at 779 on 13th Main gives us a pretty good view of what’s happening in HAL 2nd Stage. Kodihalli is a part of Bangalore that never really seems to sleep. There is always someone moving, some car honking, or some new shop opening up nearby. We have our office set up here and it stays fairly busy from the moment we unlock the doors. The stairs are a bit steep, so we get our exercise just coming in and out. Most of us have worked together for a long time, so there is a lot of talking and catching up while we work. We handle a lot of different things throughout the week. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is. The afternoon heat can get to be a bit much, but we have enough windows to catch a breeze when there is one. We are right in the middle of everything, which makes it easy for people to find us, even if parking on 13th Main is a total nightmare most days. We just do our jobs, drink a lot of coffee, and wait for the evening rush to settle down so we can head home. It is a practical place for a practical team. We don’t go in for big speeches or fancy titles; we just stay busy and keep the paperwork sorted out.
