This Week Group Of News Paper

Our office is located at 11, Chinnaphanahalli, right near the Marathahalli Post Office in Bangalore. It’s a busy area with a lot of IT parks nearby, but we are tucked away in a more traditional spot. Running a group of newspapers means there is always a bit of chaos here. We have printers that sometimes jam and journalists coming in and out at odd hours. The building itself is quite plain, and we occupy a space that’s filled with the smell of ink and old paper. We don’t really do the whole corporate culture thing. Our desks are a mess of notebooks, pens, and half-empty coffee mugs. Every week is a rush to get the next edition out, so things can get a bit loud when the deadline is close. We focus on what’s happening around us and try to get the facts right. The people who work here have been doing this for a long time, so they don’t need much direction. We just get on with it. Sometimes we sit out on the porch during a break just to get away from the screens for a minute. It’s a demanding job but we like the pace of it. We aren’t trying to be the biggest paper in India; we just want to cover the news for our readers. There’s a small park nearby where some of us go to sit when the office feels a bit too cramped with all the paper.
