Thirumala Tours Travels

Thirumala Tours Travels is based at 148 BTM Layout 2nd Stage Nava Vadaj. Our office is a simple room with some posters of famous places on the walls, though most of them are a bit faded now. We spend our days coordinating trips and talking to people about where they want to go. BTM Layout is a busy area with lots of students and young workers, so there is always something happening outside our door. We have a couple of computers that are a bit slow and a printer that jams if you put too much paper in it. It is just the way things are here. We don't try to look like a big travel agency from a movie. We are just local people helping other locals get where they need to be. Sometimes the phones are silent for hours and then suddenly five people walk in at once. We handle bus tickets, car rentals, and whatever else comes up. The desk is usually messy with pens and scrap paper. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the best routes to take during the monsoon season. It is a practical business. We don't use big words or make grand promises. We just look at the schedule and see what we can fit in. Most of our regulars live just a few blocks away and they know they can just walk in and talk to us directly.
