Thetraveller

Thetraveller is a small setup located at 1 6th Cross, 1st Block in Bangalore. We’ve been operating out of this Karnataka office for a while now, helping people figure out where they want to go. It’s not a big fancy travel agency with bright lights and posters everywhere. It’s mostly just us at our desks with a bunch of maps and computer screens. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking prices for buses and trains. Bangalore traffic makes it hard for people to visit us sometimes, so we do a lot of work through messages and calls. Our office is simple and a bit cluttered with guidebooks and old notes. We aren't travel experts who have been to every single country. We are just regular people who know how to find a good deal and organize a trip. Sometimes the booking systems crash or the prices jump up suddenly, which is frustrating for everyone. We don't have a polished sales pitch. We just tell people what we know and try to help them plan their holidays without too much stress. The 1st Block area is a good place to be, and we enjoy the local food stalls nearby during our lunch breaks. We just take things one booking at a time and try to keep our paperwork in order. It is basic, practical work for anyone looking to travel.
