Thermal Devices

We are based over at C-9 in Sector-2. Thermal Devices has been in this area for a while, and we have seen the sector change quite a bit as new buildings go up around us. Our building is one of the older ones, but it is sturdy and has plenty of space for what we do. It is not the most modern-looking place, but it has everything we need to keep things running every day. We have a workshop area in the back and some office space toward the front. Usually, the day starts early here because we like to get a head start before it gets too hot outside. Sector-2 can be a bit busy with all the trucks and vans moving through the streets, but that is just part of being in this kind of zone. We spend a lot of time working with our hands or checking on the machines. It is not a desk job for most of us here. You will usually find someone in grease-stained clothes or carrying around tools. We don't have a dedicated person just to answer the phones, so whoever is closest just picks it up. It is a bit informal, but we like it that way. There is no corporate ladder here, just a group of people working together to get the orders out on time. We try to keep the place organized, but it is a constant battle.
