The Zuri Radisson Banglore

Even though the name mentions Bangalore, we are actually located at 114/15 Salkia School Road over in Howrah, Kolkata. It’s a very different vibe here on this side of the river. The road is always narrow and full of life, with rickshaws and people moving about constantly. Our building is right there near the school, so we get the noise of the kids during the day. It’s a busy part of Howrah, and we’ve been part of this street for quite some time. The office itself is nothing special to look at from the outside. We have a few rooms filled with cabinets and desks. It’s a bit cramped, especially when we have a lot of people in at once. We spend a lot of time on the phone or dealing with the mail that comes through. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. We have a small kitchen area where we make chai, and that’s usually the heart of the office. Being in Kolkata, things have a certain rhythm. We take our time with things when we can, but we stay busy. It is not a polished environment. It’s a working office in a working neighborhood. We know the local shop owners and the people at the post office by name. It’s just how things are done here on Salkia School Road.
