The Zuri Hotels, Bangalore

We are based out of Bell Tower Hotels and Resorts at 244, Rajpalya in Hoodi Village, right on the Whitefield Road. If you know Bangalore, you know how much this area has exploded with all the IT parks and new buildings. Our spot is right in the middle of all that chaos. We spend our days here managing the different parts of the business. It’s a lot of coordinating between people and making sure things are where they need to be. The office isn’t anything too fancy, just some desks, chairs, and a lot of ringing phones. We’re constantly dealing with the noise from the Whitefield Road, which never seems to stop. Even with the windows closed, you can still hear the buses and the construction. We don’t have a big fancy team of writers; it’s just us doing the daily grind. We grab snacks from the local shops when we can and try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high. The weather in Bangalore is usually good, which helps when we have to move between buildings. We aren't about big mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on the guests and the operations, making sure the rooms are ready and the staff knows what to do. It’s a lot of small details that most people don’t see, but that’s what we do every day. Sometimes it gets overwhelming with the volume of work, but we manage to get through it one day at a time.
