The Zuri Hotel

We are sort of spread out, with our address being listed as Jharkhand Karnataka India. It sounds like a lot of ground to cover, and honestly, it is. The Zuri Hotel has people working in different spots, and we’re just the ones trying to keep it all together from our end. It’s a bit of a strange mix, having roots in two different states like that. We spend a lot of time sending messages back and forth and making sure everyone is on the same page. In the office, things are usually pretty busy. There’s always a phone ringing or someone asking about a booking. We don't have a lot of time for fancy decorations, so the walls are mostly covered in calendars and notes pinned up everywhere. The staff here is a mix of people from all over. We talk about the different food and the weather in Jharkhand versus how things are down in Karnataka. It makes for some interesting conversations during the lunch break. We don't really have a big corporate manual or anything like that. We just figure things out as they come up and try to keep everything running as smoothly as possible. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve got a good rhythm going now. Sometimes it feels like we’re in two places at once, but that’s just how we operate. We just keep moving forward, one day at a time, and hope for the best.
