The Woodrose Club, Brigade Group, Bangalore

Our office is tucked away at 1013/D on 17th E Cross in Indiranagar. It is the 2nd stage area, which everyone knows is one of the better spots in Bangalore. The Brigade Group has been around for ages, and this specific club office has its own rhythm. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of traffic picking up outside, but once you step inside, it is a bit more settled. We spend a lot of time on the phone or handling the paperwork that comes with running a place like this. The building itself is sturdy and has been here through all the changes in the neighborhood. We remember when there were fewer cars on this street. Now, finding a parking spot can be a bit of a headache if you arrive late. The staff here are mostly local folks who have been with us for years. We eat lunch together in the small break area and talk about our families or the latest news. It is not a high-pressure corporate environment where everyone is wearing suits. We keep it casual but we stay busy. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just wait for the generator to kick in. It is just a normal part of working in Bangalore. We like being in Indiranagar because everything is close by, even if the streets are a bit narrow. The Woodrose Club is part of our daily life and we enjoy the routine.
