The Taj West End

We are located at 18 Wheelers Road Extn over in St. Thomas Town. Most people just know us as The Taj West End. It is an older building and we have been here for a long time. The staff here is mostly local people who have worked in this area for years. We don’t really go for the high-pressure sales stuff you see in big cities. It is more about keeping the place tidy and making sure guests have what they need when they arrive. The gardens take up a lot of our time because things grow fast in this climate. You can usually find one of us walking around checking the gates or fixing a leaky tap. It is a big property, so there is always something that needs fixing or painting. We try to keep the noise down so it stays peaceful for everyone. Some of the rooms have high ceilings and old windows that rattle a bit when the wind kicks up. We just live and work here, doing our best to keep things running. It isn’t always perfect, but we put in the hours. If you walk down the extension road, you can't miss the entrance. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the decades, but we are still here at the same spot. It's just how we operate, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about it. We stay busy with the daily chores.
