The Taj Group Of Hotels

Our office is tucked away at No 70, Maruti Layout, in a building we call Venkateshwara Nilaya. It’s located in the Vidyaranyapura Post area of Bangalore, which is a lot quieter and more residential than the middle of the city. Most people think of huge, fancy buildings when they hear about The Taj Group Of Hotels, but this specific spot is much more modest. It’s essentially a house that we’ve converted into a working space for our administrative tasks. We don’t have a grand entrance or a doorman here. Instead, we have a small gate and a few plants out front. Inside, it’s just a handful of us working at our computers and keeping track of various records. It’s a very calm place to work, though it can be a bit of a journey to get here if the traffic is bad. We don’t really have visitors often, as most of our work is done over the phone or through the mail. Sometimes the neighborhood kids are playing cricket on the street outside, and that’s about as loud as it gets. We don’t have any marketing brochures or big posters on the walls. It’s just a practical space where we can focus on our daily chores without the noise of the city. We’ve been here for a while and the locals mostly just know us as the quiet neighbors who work in the house at the end of the lane. It works for us.
