The Senate

We are located down on Bannerghatta Road, specifically in Gundappa Layout, Gottigere. It’s a part of Bangalore that has grown quite a bit recently. Our building is at 66/4. We’ve been here for a while, seeing the traffic get heavier and more shops opening up nearby. We provide rooms for travelers and folks who are in town for a few days. It's not a complicated operation. We have the reception desk near the front, and we just make sure the keys are ready when people show up. The staff here are mostly local guys who know the layout of the city well. We spend a lot of time giving directions to people who get lost trying to find the tech parks or the hospitals around here. The rooms are kept clean and we try to keep the noise down as much as possible, though the city is always humming. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Usually, people find us because they need a place to stay that isn't right in the middle of the expensive downtown area. We just focus on the basics like clean sheets and making sure the water is hot in the mornings. It’s a straightforward business. We like the neighborhood and the people who pass through. It feels like we are part of the daily life of this street, watching the buses go by and helping guests settle in for their stay.
